This site is published and operated by the Hope Island Shopping Centre and PGA (Hope Island) Pty Ltd (“HISC”). HISC is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and others who deal with us or use our website. This policy is provided to inform you of what information HISC collects when you use our website and how we will handle this information.

When visiting our site, a record of your visit may be logged. Some or all of the following information may be recorded and used by HISC to improve its service (the user's server address; the user's operating system; the user's domain name; the date and time of the visit to the site; the pages accessed and the documents downloaded; the type of browser used). This information is supplied by your browser.

No attempt will be made to identify individual users or their browsing activities without your consent except in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the Internet web server logs.

Your agreement

By submitting material to any of our servers, for example, by e-mail, via the HISC website, or HISC Facebook page you agree that: (a) the material will not contain any item that is unlawful or otherwise unfit for publication; (b) you will use reasonable efforts to scan and remove any viruses or other contaminating or destructive features before submitting any material; and (c) you own the material or have the unlimited right to provide it to us and HISC may publish the material free of charge and/or incorporate it or any concepts described in it in our products without accountability or liability (d) you agree not to take action against us in relation to material that you submit and you agree to indemnify us if any third party takes action against us in relation to the material you submit.

Other information collected by us, for example through the use of an online form, will only:

be collected by lawful and fair means
be used for a lawful purpose
be collected with your consent, and
the purpose for collection will be clear and explicit.
by entering into entry into HISC Competitions you agree to indemnify PGA of any claims.
PGA reserves the right to have final say on prizes/winners and no correspondence will be entered into.
all prizes advertised in competitions are subject to retailer availability and to be used within stated time frames

If you subscribe

HISC offers a free subscription service so that you can receive information about HISC by e-mail. While HISC endeavours to provide you with this information on a timely basis, HISC will not be liable for its non-delivery nor can HISC guarantee that delivery will not be delayed.

When you email us or register with our free subscription services you are consenting to HISC using the information you provide. In particular:

we will record your email address, name and any other information which you provide when you register (collectively “personal information”)
we will only use your personal information for the purpose of our communication with you
we will not use your personal information for any other purpose, and
we will not disclose your personal information without your consent.

Security

HISC takes all reasonable security measures to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, destruction, misuse, modification or disclosure. However, to the maximum extent possible under any law, HISC accepts no liability or responsibility for the unauthorised access or use of personal information held by it.
